Have you ever wanted to create your very own MIDI controller but have no experience with electronics or soldering? In this class you'll make your own controller based on our Brain for do-it-yourself controller building. You will learn the basics of the Brain and build a USB MIDI controller with knobs, buttons, LED’s, and sliders. No experience necessary this is a fun class for beginners and experts alike. Tools and supplies are included. Classes are held at Livid’s manufacturing facility in Austin, TX, and is taught by Livid founders Jay Smith and Travis Redding. Sign up today, space is limited.

About Livid's Master Classes

Livid Master Classes are designed to provide insight to the creative and technical aspects of electronic media and performance. Livid Master classes are designed by Livid founder Jay Smith, who is a member of the multimedia/rock band Sinch and teaches in the Multimedia Department at the University of The Arts. In addition to being an accomplished performer and artists, Smith has designed visuals for high profile world tours and speaks at international conferences on music and technology. Livid Master classes also feature very talented Livid staffers, who are well versed in electronical engineering, sound design, DJing, VJing, and instrument design. Livid Master Classes are held in Livid's very own manufacturing facility in Austin, TX, "The Live Music Capital of the World".
